In a separate housing venture, Habitat for Humanity South Australia is transforming an existing duplex in Murray Bridge into four studio apartments to provide secure accommodation for young people transitioning from State guardianship to independent living.

The project will involve renovating an existing two-unit duplex, and adding new bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, and fencing to the property with a completion target of October 2023.
​
“These studio apartments will provide housing for young people and give them the opportunity to develop the life skills needed to maintain a successful tenancy in the future,” Mrs Hay says.
