Volunteer with us
Habitat for Humanity South Australia’s success in providing shelter and improving the lives of South Australians is built on the energy and drive of a hard-working band of volunteers, which include both individuals and corporate groups.
Volunteers undertake a diverse set of tasks, ranging from collecting and delivering goods for Habitat’s social enterprise, ReStore; to cleaning and preparing items for sale, recycling and upcycling products, and making sales. Volunteers also undertake gardening jobs and minor renovations under Habitat’s Brush with Kindness program.
Volunteers, who are required to complete the appropriate police and related checks, are well-supported by Habitat’s executive team and board of directors.
Habitat for Humanity South Australia won a 2021 SA Volunteers Award for its bushfire recovery program in the Adelaide Hills in 2020-21.
